Overview

Panel fire accidents are often caused by dust, abnormal terminal heating, and reduced contact pressure, which can lead to severe property damage and life-threatening incidents. Traditional fire detection systems, such as thermal glass bulbs, smoke detectors, and heat sensors, often fail to provide accurate early warnings. The PSMS is designed to proactively detect fire risks through advanced multi-sensor technology.

Principle of Operation

System Overview

PSMS detects the following fire detection elements in a single sensor unit

  • IR & UV Spark Sensors : Detect sparks within specific wavelength ranges.
  • Smoke Sensor : Identifies early signs of smoke.
  • IR Temperature Sensor : Monitors rapid temperature changes between -20°C and 200°C.
  • 2-Channel Thermocouples : Cover blind spots within the panel to ensure complete coverage.

Data collected from these sensors can be analyzed through fire detection algorithms and linked to warning and extinguishing systems before danger escalates.

Communication Technology

LoRa Wireless Communication
  • Long-range (up to 2km) and low-power operation.
  • Ideal for IoT networks with up to 1,000 devices connected to a single gateway.
  • Operates on license-free frequencies (920.9–923.3MHz), reducing costs.
TCP/IP Wired Communication
  • Provides an alternative in areas where wireless connectivity is unavailable.
